Couch co-op for the whole group
Once more than two people are on the sofa, options shrink fast: many games only support two local players. This page only shows games that offer local co-op for at least three players according to Steam and IGDB – from kitchen chaos to beat 'em ups.
Have enough controllers ready and use a big screen, because four players get cramped. Most of these games live on everyone shouting at once. Friends who can't make it can often join via Steam Remote Play Together.
Our picks
Overcooked! 2
Cooking together against the clock while the kitchen moves under your feet. The classic for loud evenings – arguments included.
Castle Crashers
Four knights, countless enemies and plenty of slapstick. Easy to pick up and still a party hit years later.
Moving Out
Removal work with physics: throwing sofas through windows is explicitly encouraged. Short levels, lots of laughs.
